I just got back from an amazing trip to Vancouver & Seattle. Saw tons of amazing things and had some amazing moments but yet I feel taking the time to write about them isn't very appealing.

Tonight I was working at the Distrikt. I spotted that the roadie for The Trews was wearing a American Nightmare shirt (which normally wouldn't be so suprising to see but we're talkign a Trews show in Regina). Anyways, I complimented him on the shirt and he tell me that be acctually toured with No Warning for about 6 years. He was also NW original drummer pre-B9 days. I thought that was a pretty gnarly thing to happen while at work. Then after the show he takes the AN shirt off and gives it to me and says "You can have this, I've got like 3 of them".

So now i have a pretty awesome American Nightmare Summer Tour 01 shirt and a great story to go along with it.

Tonight's Rundown

The story of tonight:

-Attended the Regina Multifaith Forum presentation of "Religion: A Force for Good and/or Evil?" with Will and Anna. Will's Buddhism professor did a talk o the conflict of good and evil in the Buddhist faith. There was also a presentation from a Jesuit priest that is a professor at Campion College. Both presentation were very enlightening and interesting but for the most part tonight my brain just didn't seem to take it all in so well. Anna, Will, Ingrid and I all enjoyed the cookies they set out after and explored the gallery.

-Went to Java Express after and ran into both Jason's sister Sherri and my cousin Jessica. Spent an hour or so asking each other Trivial Pursuit game cards but no one could find the dice for us to actually play.

- Ingrid dropped me off and I watched 'The Woodsman" starring Kevin Bacon, Mos Def, and Kyra Sedgwick. I think it was an amazing movie just so difficult to watch at some times (none of those times being when Kyra was on screen cause she look fuckin' smokin in this movie). Anyways....I recommend it to anyone with an open mind because it takes a pretty controversial look into the life of a man who has spent 12 years in jail for his acts of pedophilia and has been released back into society.

-Talked to my lovely Lysh from Saskatoon about trading mix tapes soon and her touring America & Europe (hopefully) with the Bell Orchestre. I've really excited for her.

Oh just so you know they made me the shittiest looking and tasting Spinach & Artichoke dip ever so I just told the waitress it was 'disgusting' and that 'I lost my appetite so there was no use bringing another". Which I later realize is a pretty good scheme for getting free drinks and wasting their time.
-After BP's Will, Jason, And I watched 'Stella' at my house which was fuckin' hilarious.
-I also got a confirmation that JZ's new band SLEEPING GIRL will be playing at The Club on Feb 18th.

Went to chuckie cheese for the first time ever on friday. It was dope as hell...
-pizza is fuckin fantastic.
-will and mike scammed an emplyee's number off her so we can visit with her in vancouver (although i don't know why)
- 1 token games are all gnarly.

Other than that I saw Memoirs Of A Geshia last night with Ingrid and Anna. Tons of hotties in that flick.

Also started afew ventures this week
- Throwing a show/goin' away party for my dearest friend Courtney on Feb 4th called "MORTLOCK'D". I'll even be doing a set of DESCENDENTS covers with Shocker.
- Started up a company called "RUMBLE YOUNG MAN RUMBLE"... Gonna do up some gnarly shirt designs, pins, and other accessories. Hope to eventually put out some 7" records.
